Here is the official National Championship game threadI admit that Im an Ohio State fan, but Im not counting out Florida either, they are a very tough team and deserve to play in the Championship. This is going to be a BIG BIG BIG game for both teams. The bet is on! Florida governer Charlie Crist made a wager with newly sworn in Governer of Ohio Ted Strickland (he was sworn in at 12:01 am this morning) If Florida wins, Strickland must fly the Florida Flag over his residence for 1 day and send the Florida Governer Skyline Chili (a Cincinnati dish) and some eddible Buckeyes( the ones made with Peanut Butter)If Ohio State wins Crist must fly the Ohio flag over his residence for 1 day and send Ohio Governer some fresh Florida CitrusFinally in a strange oddity in Ohio, the demand for Aligator meat for the past few weeks has been up. I don't care which band it is, part of a college game is hearing the bands and understanding the tradition.... great coverage.. maybe the NFL can take note you don't need Rock N Roll bands to give fans an experience....We shall see if the game lives up to the hype. But there was no replay that showed anything indisputable to change the call. If they would have called him down at the 1, that play would've stood up as well. Dilbert Posted January 9, 2007 Author Share Posted January 9, 2007 Im not being biased because Im a Buckeyes fan, but the refs have blown several calls, the reviewed Gators TD was down at the 1, they have spotted the ball short twice for the Buckeyes when they were first downs and they have also given first downs to the Gators twice when they were just short.
