The other motorist described the driver with the gun as "a white kid trying to act like a gangster."

*snort*

That lives in plush, whitebread Villanova. I love it. Hardcore.

That's going to hurt his street cred ^_^

You know, I almost have to wonder if the local news stations would be covering it as much if the alleged perpetrators were not Andy Reid's two sons?

From one South Jerseyan to another, you know the answer as well as I do: a giant, resounding "HELL NO". This is the city where the Eagles chants are heard at every other sporting event, college or pro. And some wedding receptions or church gatherings, for that matter.

Counterpoint question: are the Reid boys being handled a little better than most because they're Andy Reid's kids? If it were you or I who allegedly did what they allegedly did, we would get minimal media coverage, but would we be given such relative leniency, given the nature of the allegations?

"Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Agreed -- I was at my great-aunt's golden jubilee (she has been a nun for 50 years), and since a certain football game was that night, the DJ at the reception played the Eagles fight song.

I strongly suspect they are getting slight special treatment, though the police will deny it.

One of the son's, Garrett, had a drug possession arrest and conviction in 2002 while in Utah. So as a repeat offender, there stil may not have been unfair treatment. Because of their religous beliefs, devout Mormons, the use of drugs and the gunplay is a real crisis situation.

Well football takes allot of Andy's time so he cant be watching his two adult kids all day.

Well, the kid is an adult. By now he should be making his own decisions and take responsibility so there's no need for Reid to be watching them.

I saw, I came, I left.

No, but by dint of his father's profession, these two kids are afforded more opportunity than most of us working-class sad sacks. Frankly, if a little extra media attention comes with the territory of being in an NFL family, suck it up and deal. And don't act "gangsta" in your SUV.

I agree. However, I think that's easier said than done... I have a cousin who recently got out of jail after 2 years, and he moved back in with his parents for a few months - they let him do this despite having previously stolen money for drugs from them, which they knew about. Personally, I can't imagine why, but I'm not in their position.

oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel .

Is your father to blame for you being a loser?
