scimini Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 I don't believe so, the NFL wanted to take a break with a few certain throwbacks to keep them unique. The Lions are only one of a handful of teams that is allowed to have 4 jerseys (Home, Away, Throwback, Alternate).I actually would like to see the Lions add another Throwback to the 60s when they did not have white on their helmets as well. The last two years, they wore their current uniforms on Thanksgiving. I wish they would wear the throwbacks on Thanksgiving, because it just seemed right.
