They could get swept in the series and lose every game 14-1 and it still wouldn't be enough for me. It's ridiculous but I can't help it. And I should add that my hatred for all things Red Sox isn't because I am a sore loser Tribe fan. I hated the Red Sox long before this series started. I hated them in 1986. I hated them in 2003 (God Bless you Aaron Boone!) I hated them in 2004, and so on.I don't know how many Rockies fans there were yesterday but I bet they have gained millions and millions more today.Oh and before I forget, Congrats to the Red Sox fans on the board. When I really watched baseball, I liked the Yankees. My football team is the Bills. It's ingrained in me to dislike, if not hate, the Red Sox and Patriots. Now that they're both good at the same time, and perhaps both on the verge of championships, I'm incredibly annoyed.I would derive a lot of satisfaction from the Red Sox getting swept by the Rockies, and the Patriots flaming out in the remaining weeks of the season. I doubt either will happen, but that's the level of petty I'm at right now. A total shame, isn't it?Same exact thinking in me except for the fact that I hate the Yankees as much as the Red Sox. I can't stand Manny Ramirez, and the Red Sox fans. Yes, I know this is a generalization, but in my mind it is true. They are exactly what they hate the most. Yankee Fans:Boston Edition. They are all over the place now. The fans that have stuck with them before '04 are generally very "baseball-literate" but the bandwagon Red Sox "Fans" coming out of the woodwork since their World Series, are so stuck up and annoying because since they "loved" the Red Sox they have been great. Same with the Patriots, I have been to two Bills vs. Patiots games since their 3 SB's and they are just like many Red Sox fans. That added to the face of my hatred for Tom Brady means I hate the Patriots.So GO ROCKIES, and Redskins!In reality I believe that "Red Sox Nation" can celebrate again as the Red Sox win it all. The long break will end up hurting the Rockies momentum. The Red Sox will sweep in Boston, before heading to Colorado where the Rockies get back on track, but it will be too late. Red Sox in 6 games.
