Obviously a month is an exaggeration. Crisp instigated and deserves a larger suspension. I would say 3-5 games. Shields deserves to get 5 which equates to 1 game since he is a SP. But I wouldn't be surprised if both get 2 games. 2 for Crisp, 10 for Shields.

Based on what I recall in the past, do they actually do that scaling up for pitchers? I can't remember that happening. Generally the instigators of a brawl get 4-6 IIRC regardless of if they are a pitcher or a hitter. And I'd be really surprised if Crisp only gets 2; he deserves more and almost certainly will get more IMO,

Won't spoil the attached video completely, only to say that Shane Victorino plays a prominent role.

Phils steal one improbably in Atlanta. Down 2-1, but with runners aboard, Kelly Johnson drops the game winning out. They proceed to put up two runs to take the lead in the top of the 10th. Braves appear to re-tie in the bottom of the tenth, but a play at the plate becomes pivotal.

Sure did. Turns out Manny, along with a few others on the team, think it's kinda selfish of Youkilis to throw temper-tantrums in the dugout after a bad AB, like throwing his helmet around, etc. Manny got tired of it, confronted Youk after he threw another fit, and that's how it supposedly started up.

-smh- @ Kelly Johnson not being fundamentally sound at that point. As terrible as the Braves played that game (baserunning blunders galore), they STILL could've won on 2 separate occasions. Yet, I am in no way surprised because the Braves have been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory all year. That game is really gonna hurt come October.

On behalf of the Mets I like to concede the division to the Phillies now, they are the better team lots of good young American stars, I wish them good luck in the playoffs, and hope that after a good house cleaning the Mets can taste the playoffs some time in the near future.

Its better I realize that now and just throw my hands up rather then be frustrated any further. They dont care why should I. Why should I let them ruin this season for me.

The Mets are 1 game under .500 and thats what they are a .500 team, They are too old, too fragile, and not enough heart. At least there wont be a heart wrenching collapse this year.

Their lack of depth is terrible they called up Abraham Nunez despite batting .133 in AAA.

Their manager is an idiot

Their GM seems to only look in one direction when it comes to talent.

And thats not to mention how they screwed up Ryan Church's concussion. When he hit his head they should have put him on the DL then and there but now he is still feeling the effects and made several long flights and its seems to have exasperated the condition.

The Phillies are never out of games and are starting to pull away they have the younger hungrier players. I got a ticket to final game at Shea and I guess it will be the final game at Shea now since this team is not going to the playoffs.
