infrared41
Met fans live and die with every pitchYou people do understand that they're playing baseball right? Living and dying with every pitch is as silly as it is pointless. For some reason the phrase "get a life" comes to mind. All roads lead to Dollar General. You know your sports posts are taking on the same qualities of your political posts. You make these absurd statements and then add nothing to back up your point. So I ask, how will it be crippling? And if they hold on to the lead will it somehow propel them to the pennant? It's one game in July Tank. All it means is a win or a loss. Baseball fans that actually know something about the game seem to understand that the game has ups and downs. You could get swept this week only to reel off 10 wins in a row in the next two weeks. In any case, I hope The Marlins win that division on the last day of the season. I want that solely because you and the other Mets fans are so far beyond the pale that it makes it impossible to root for your team. All roads lead to Dollar General. NJTank
You can not tell me the Phillies are better then the MetsThere is no way on earth the Phillies are better then the Mets, when the Mets want to play to their full potential they are the best team in the National League it was the case in 2006, and 95% of 2007. If not for that collapse last year the Mets would have led the division almost wire to wire a season after leading wire to wire. Its just a matter of desire the Mets sometimes take games off, and under Willie Randolph it was almost like a loss was no big deal the Mets could turn it on any time, that dont work. Now they have caught up there should be no excuses. The Mets should add a corner OF in case Church continues to hear bells, and to provide an extra bat, and I pray Luis Castillo needs knee surgery so Easley and Argenis Ryees continue to split time at 2B. They can also use another relieverBut who has a better starting five in the NLMike Pelfrey is developing in to a solid starter now that he lost the stupid mouthguard.Johan is JohanOliver Perez when he is on is one of the nastiest lefties in the NLJohn Maine is usually solid and Pedro may have some magic leftYou have Jose Reyes the most exciting player in MLBDavid Wright the best 3B in the NLCarlos Beltran Delgado looks rejuvenatedTatis is a miracle findRamon Castro is very underratedEndy Chavez is the best defensive OF in baseball. NJTank
Chipper Jones is on the final turn at Augusta he will be in the AL in a few years as a DH. How can this team not win?Somebody better tell The Cardinals, Marlins, Twins, Rays, and White Sox that based on Tank's logic they shouldn't be winning. I'm sure that once those teams hear the news they will revert to form. How can The Mets not win? Simple. Potential vs. Performance. That's why they play the games on the field instead of on paper or on dumbassed sports radio shows. From where I see it, The Phillies think they are at least as good as the Mets. They proved it last year and it looks like they aren't going to simply take your word for it that they aren't as good this year. All roads lead to Dollar General. Breakwood
Why is the Jays-Orioles game Postponed?
