I wish they'd bring a purple alternate or atleast add purple outline, but that is not going to happen. Teams are getting more and more generic, it seems. I prefer unique combinations. Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 from what some other threads have mentioned, it looks like the Hornets might turn more focus to a "Mardi Gras Blue" which is like a purple, but not. Im hoping they don't do that and keep what they have going...its nice and unique imo.as for the Raps, i agree to the fact that they had a unique color set and the nba needs to take heed to that fact and not marginalize all the teams into red-black and navy-red combos. I love green and red as a color scheme, and it's very underused in pro sports. The Minnesota Wild look great, the Bucks look nice, hell I miss the old red and green Devils.
