illwauk Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 As an Africology major, I'd like to point out that witchcraft is an entirely European/Western concept and the overwhelming majority of stories about "witchcraft" (and "voodoo doctors") are actually misconceptions by ethnocentric western reporters. I'm absolutely positive that what happened here was no different than what happens at matches in Europe between rival clubs with catholic and protestant undertones.All I can do is shake my head at how we're supposed to be such an advanced and educated society, yet these stereotypes are still confirmed in the "legit" media.
