Burmy
http://www.goldenbaseball.com/ArDisplay.as...1&SecID=303I know you just want me to cut to the cream cheese and get to the logo, so here it is:Better look at it (with team font too):Your thoughts? kc51design
The worst of the GBL, it doesn't look like it came from the same studio as the other ones. It seams like V crushed the seal. Are they Red Sox affiliate? Why Red Sox font? lockerroom51
jhans203
It's cute....makes me want to not club them.
B-Rich
Great name-- I never so so many seals as I saw in Victoria Harbor-- but I agree, the logo is a little weak. KC is right, it looks like it is crushing the Seal, rather than the seal wrapping around it. The bat in the seal's flippers also looks to be out-of-place and added as an afterthought... I don't mind the classic font and old-time look of the logo (after all, the Seals name in west coast baseball goes way back to the days of the old PCL San Francisco Seals), it's just bad execution OF the logo-- it could be tweaked a bit and look nice. It is what it is.

Joshawaggie
Looks like a logo dug up out of the archives. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats
Cola
Horrible. Looks like they found a seal from a 1980's clip art magazine and pasted it behind a "V" in Red Sox font.
Waffles
It looks like they just used a cheapo free Red Sox-style font. Possibly this one: http://www.dafont.com/bosox.font
kiwi_canadian
Being from Victoria, I must say that I am ashamed to call that a local team. That is horrible!!!

kiwi_canadian
Why didn't they bring back the Capitals name from the old CBL?
Burmy
Being from Victoria, I must say that I am ashamed to call that a local team. That is horrible!!!C'mon KC, you can't abandon your home team just because you don't like it's logo!I mean, I'm still a fan of my Bucks & Admirals (even though their logos are awful). Give the Seals a chance-be glad baseball's back in your city!(P.S. I just LOVE how they have the seal balancing a baseball on his nose!)

kiwi_canadian
And to think they could have called them the Secrets.Think of the potential for cheerleaders with that name. It would be a sellout every game!!!! lol
jreiss26
Wow, that's a horrible logo. Studio Simon and Joe Bosack designed all the original teams. And you can definitely tell, by the logos, which teams they are. They must have hired a freshman from the local college whose majoring in Psychology. Lee.
Surely it's a better logo than Welcome to DrunjFlix
Max Power
Wow, that's terrible. The 'V' looks like it's cutting the seal in half. The baseball bat laying on the seal's back looks like it was thrown in at the last second. Because the baseball balancing on the seal's nose wasn't enough baseball imagery?
