rtrich11
Do they know you just recolored the Nashville Predators' logos?
crashcarson15
Two things, one do you have to have permission from the team if you are using a recolored logo, and if you don't/have it then it is a good start. Would like to see numbers on the football jersey. And the other is does your school have to change their mascot because it is "offensive"?
fkaKrock5cent
It still needs numbers and a word mark but it's looking great!
CAB
Yes, we are changing our mascot because their has been some issues in the past. We called the Ponca tribe of Nebraska, and they said they would like us to change our mascot. There is a high school that is on an indian reservation, and it seems every year at basketball games that we play them, there's been a fight of some kind. I am not very fond of this decision, but if we have to get a new mascot, then I would love to be the one to create it.And, yes when I submitted this, I wrote and said that this is from the Nashville Predators. We might have to get rights to the logo. But as for the P logo, I don't think there would be a problemwith that.
cappital92
Your primary looks a little too much like this:http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=mlf...qeozesqds9dwiqp
CAB
YA that is the logo I started with.
elliott
I think your high school would rather use three original logos as opposed to recolors. The jerseys look pretty good, though.
KJTALBOT
A new high school in my area was going to call themselves the Plymouth Predators and use a recolored Nashville Preds logo, but some parents complained. They said the name Predators was too close to a sexual predator. So now they are the Plymouth Wildcats, with a Nashville Predators recolored logo on their football helmet. The worst of both worlds. At least they could have called themselves the Plymouth Panthers and used a recolored Carolina Panthers logo.
Korbyn
A tip put your concepts on a light grey background rather then black. It makes them look better for some reason, haha.
jOkeR
Those jerseys seem like they'd be too expense (too much customization) for a high school. Most high school jerseys are off of some sort of template, thats my only issue...

Chief.
I strongly urge you not to do this.
BostonBlazer
It's fine if the team nickname is "Predators." Instead of using a recolored version of Nashville's logos, I'd come up with a more original design just to be safe. See if you can do that. How can a school with the name "predator" indicate "sexual predator" when there is a Nashville Predators logo? I don't get it. That's like saying the name "Thrashers" is to close to "thrashing or beating a child" when in fact it's a type of bird.
aci
As far as recoloured logos go, my high school used a re-coloured Philadelphia Eagles logo for the Golden Eagles logo we had on all our school merchandise (gym clothes, hoodies, etc). Our football team had the wings on a purple helmet, too. Luckily, our football jersys were nothing similar, but it's a shock nobody got sued. Maybe people just don't care about small-town Canadian high schools, though.
