The font I've used is Hoefler & Frere-Jones' Knockout. The effect is a trade secret, sorry . As far as leagues go, I am planning to do the Italian Serie A (which I just finished), the German Bundesliga, the French Ligue 1, the Spanish La Liga, the Scottish Premier League, and then individual requests.
