2009 NFL Alt/Throwback schedules

Not verified yet, but Atlanta supposedly will wear their throwbacks against Carolina on September 20 and New Orleans on December 13.

And, their black alts on October 18th against Chicago and against Tampa Bay on November 29th.

where did you hear this? is it even allowed to wear two diff alternates? that would be awesome though!

Denver is.

And that's great news. 3 games in Orange. Delicious. They'll be terrible this year, but they'll look good.

Maybe the throwbacks get a pass. Who knows.

I think that Denver and San Diego are wearing the throwbacks in addition to the alternates only because of the 50th Anniversary celebration. If I were to bet, Atlanta's throwbacks would be their alternates meaning they can't wear another alternate, just like Minnesota and Buffalo in the past.

Patriots will wear their Boston Patriot garb on Opening night against Buffalo and in Mid-October at home versus Tennessee.

Not sure if they have a red version of the uniform?

The only jerseys in adult size that the Patriots Pro Shop (online version) and NFL Shop are selling are red. When Patrick Chung was introduced to the press after the draft, Robert Kraft had a red jersey for him.

So yes

Like DGivens, I'm still waiting for adult sized white jerseys to be sold.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

WSU - look what I just stumbled upon...

:D

Welker jersey's on it way!

That's a nice find, but I wonder why you have to search to find it. I still don't know which 50th Anniversary jersey I want yet, but knowing the white ones are available is nice.

The Bears will wear their orange jerseys on Nov. 1 against the Browns.

http://boards.chicagobears.com/forums/thread/1682995.aspx

Do you know whether the Bears will be wearing their white jerseys for this season?s home opener Sept. 20 against the Steelers like they?ve done on a few previous occasions to try to counter what potentially could be very hot weather?

Allan B.

Bartlett, Illinois

The Bears are scheduled to wear their regular navy jerseys Sept. 20 against the Steelers and for all of their home games this season with the exception of the Nov. 1 contest versus the Browns when they are slated to wear their alternate orange jerseys

I hate the orange jerseys. Everyone hates the orange jerseys. Make them stop wearing the orange jerseys.

Random guys in 3X orange Urlacher replicas would beg to differ.

Random guys in 3X orange Urlacher replicas can piss up a rope. They're hideous.

The one good thing about the orange jerseys is that Lovie Smith once said something like "we hope the fans will join us in an Orange Swarm," which is the funniest thing Lovie Smith has ever said as coach of the Bears. To explain what makes it funny would disturb the delicate equilibrium in which Lovie Smith Humor exists (much like dissecting a frog, you'll learn it but you'll kill it), so just take it for what it is.

  • 3 weeks later...

Does anyone know if they will be making EQT/Premier/Replithentic (whatever you want to call them) throwback Buccaneers jerseys?

I know they are making the replica ones, but didn't see any stitched ones. I was in Tampa for the preseason game.

Sidenote, are the Steelers wearing the same throwback they have been in previous years?

For the fact that New Orleans is listed, do you have any information indicating they plan to wear throwbacks this year?

I believe so but alas dates are not announced yet.
