JACK IS CONSTRUCTION
Why did the NHL schedule both games for yesterday? Now I don't have a game to watch tonight.I was just thinking the same. I really like to watch hockey at night, and not do my homework.
Cujo
Why did the NHL schedule both games for yesterday? Now I don't have a game to watch tonight.Same for both Game 2s. Double-header tonight, no games tomorrow. The NHL could've done better.

Double-header tonight, no games tomorrow. The NHL could've done better.and then we're back to staggered games on Thursday. I don't understand it. Also, how did both eastern conference series go to 7 games, but one finished two days before the other?

habsfan1
Just saw highlights from the Habs / Flyers game and what a letdown. When a so-so goalie gets 2 consecutive shutouts, there's a serious problem.
Jigga
However, if the other so-so goalie got two consecutive shut outs, it would have been okay, right? The_Admiral
This is not exciting hockey. These conference finals are looking like quarters...Regular season quarters at that. That last one doesn't even make any sense. This has been a really exciting game. The first period was chock-full of very close and intense play before the Hawks started getting to Nabokov. We're dealing with two highly talented teams here and it shows. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

NEW.ERA
Sharks now 0-5 in Conference Final games at the Shark Tank and they may not get another chance at winning a WCF game at home if Chicago can carry their play over to the UC. LightningRide75
Chicago is pretty much a co-number one seed with the Sharks in my opinion. It's not a surprise that the Blackhawks are better. NBC and Gary Bettman should be dancing a jig with a Blackhawks-Flyers SCF looming.

RedRenesis
I think the Habs have run out of gas and the Sharks, well, are the Sharks.Halak is faltering, two of the goals tonight were just miserable. Whether the Flyers are in his head or he has hit the wall I wouldnt know, but this looks to be going south on the Canadiens rapidly.
HedleyLamarr
Aside from one bad period, Michael Leighton has been virtually unbeatable in the 4.5 games he's played. He hasn't played as much as Halak, Nabakov, and Niemi....he's simply the freshest starting goalie right now, and that could possibly do wonders for the Flyers.
