Don
The Flyers just have not shown up. They've been given chance after chance and have shown nothing. All they do is try and fight but nothing comes out of it. Lundqvist has actually shown up. How about Ryan Callahan? That kid is a player. Get Drury gone, give that kid the C. GO2HELL
You know what pisses me off, the fact that Canucks tickets are so goddamn expensive. 80 bucks each for nosebleeds. How much does it cost to go to games in other cities?
Lee.
Used to be able to get Jets tickets in the nosebleeds for $11. Now, go ask about tickets in Phoenix, I think they're about half that.Good team + strong hockey market + Rogers Arena is a meat market = High Ticket Prices. Go check craigslist, or talk to scalpers in front of gate 6.Also, my wife got me tickets for Christmas. 15 rows behind Luongo, ticket price was $102. She didn't pay half that. Brass
What an awful captain Andrew Ladd is. Not only did the Thrashers not have a game today, but they don't have one until Wednesday. WEDNESDAY! This falls entirely on the captain. On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?
charger77
Used to be able to get Jets tickets in the nosebleeds for $11. But at the most recent thay was 15 years ago and probably a fair price. Also, my wife got me tickets for Christmas. 15 rows behind Luongo, ticket price was $102. She didn't pay half that.$102 for those seats at that rink seems like a good price. Besides, I hear the team only plays 82 games a year! Lee.
$102 for those seats at that rink seems like a good price.Considering it was against Detroit (although I'm not sure the Canucks charge more for "premium" teams), it is. I think she paid $80 for the pair, which is pretty awesome. As a comparison, we paid around $35 each for Jets-Red Wings game 3 playoff tickets back in the day. Counting the 14+ year gap, the last two NHL games I've attended have contained the Red Wings. Welcome to DrunjFlix
The_Admiral
Leading the league in wins is no where like leading in GAA.Which itself is not as telling as save percentage. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Lee.
It's more of a circumstance thing, considering I'm not much of a Red Wings fan. At this point, I'm not even sure who I'd want to see the Canucks play against, just getting into the building at a reasonable price is good enough for me.*I wouldn't want to see the Oilers. I saw them enough in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I'm good. Welcome to DrunjFlix
The_Admiral
Isn't this impressive? Last year, Henrik gets a scoring title. This year, it could very well be the twin brother. Wouldn't that be something?Cue a rant by somebody, possibly oddball, calling them the Sedin sisters, and how something something something that ain't hockey.Sorry, but I'm not impressed at all. The only reason the Sedin SISTERS score so many goals is because they have such a crappy goaltender in Roberto Luongo that they have to score goals just to win games. It's just like how people thought Grant Fuhr put up big numbers but he wasn't that good a goalie because he had Wayne Gretzky score so many goals for him, but, the opposite. If the Sedin SISTERS were real players with a real goalie, they'd be able to focus on playing everything in hockey and not just bailing themselves out with goals, they'd be real complete hockey players. Hockey is not about scoring goals and assists. Hockey is about digging the puck out of the corners, laying down hard checks, making everyone around you better with inspirational talk on the bench, and making incredible blocker saves against odd-man rushes. Do the Sedins do any of those things? NO! Then how can they win a scoring title? Scoring is more than what shows up on the score sheet. And look how many defensemen are injured. Why you ask? Because when your best players aren't real hockey players, the defensemen have to be held accountable for physical play and they all get hurt. Sami Salo is out for the year because Daniel Sedin scored a lot of tap-ins. There, I said it. Everyone knows it. And how can you have one twin be the captain and not both? If they're twins, how come one is better than the other than huh? Hockey is about everyone contributing equally. If both twins aren't equal, then nobody is equal. Mark my words, the Canucks will get swept in the first round ebcause the Sedin SISTERS aren't real hockey players! ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
Lee.
You forgot to mention how Henrik is the second worst captain in professional hockey history, including Kris King's stint with the Jets in '94-95. Welcome to DrunjFlix
