Kramerica Industries
San Francisco is the first team to punch their ticket to their league's LCS.Giants also become the first team to ever overcome a 2-0 deficit in a 2-3 format, by winning the last three games on the road. Given the switch back to 2-2-1 next year, they may remain alone in that feat for a long time to come.

Punch
The thought of a Cardinals (2011 World Series Champions) vs. Giants (2010 World Series Champions) NLCS and Yankees (2009 World Series Champions) vs. Tigers ALCS makes me sad to be a baseball fan. I would hop on the Tigers bandwagon by default, but I am really hoping for at least one of the Nationals, Athletics, or Orioles to advance. FiddySicks
I'm totally speechless right now. What a game, what a series! I thought for sure the Giants were dead after game two, but they reached down deep and scratched and clawed their way to the series win. Reds were a true force in this series, but like I said, winning the first game ever in your park's playoff history brings a different level of pressure. As for next round, let's go Cardinals. I know a Cardinals Giants NLCS would make a lot of people groan, but seeing the two previous World Series winners battle it out would be fantastic. Both of those teams know how to win in the playoffs and it'd be a fantastic battle. Plus, I feel that the Giants have a much better chance against St. Luois, as the Nats have straight owned San Francisco over the last two seasons. The Six
Well that was quite a turnaround from that terrible showing at home in Games 1 and 2. 3 in a row on the road says a lot. Romo learned well from Brian Wilson how to close a game in the most terrifying way possible.

Again, I'm not allowed to be happy about my team potentially coming back? I was pumped up about todays game, and I know the 49ers had beaten the Bengals before on close plays, so that's why I posted them as a precursor to today's game to hopefully keep it up. Its not like I posted Palmer shredding his knee against the Steelers. And I really don't see what the big deal is about saying sorry. I really do feel sorry for the Red fans who saw their team lose this series after being up 2-0. I've seen heartbreakers(think 2002 and 03), so I know how it feels(Especially with Dusty as a manager). I said sorry after the 49ers beat the Packers this season, and the Packer fans didn't seem to care at all. Mings
No, you were being a douche. See BucFan's posts to see how to be happy without being douchey. Also Scott Rolen is dead to me, and so is baseball the rest of the year. I don't give a damn who wins now. Kramerica Industries
I cannot believe Todd Frazier wasn't on the field in place of Rolen today. Veteran presents presence or not, Frazier is a better option than Rolen. Dusty's gonna be Dusty, I guess.
CS85
If the Nationals can't pull off some sort of a comeback, it's time we asked ourselves who's gonna be....If it's the Giants, it's the Giants. It must be done. Justice must be done this day. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. There's a reason this guy has taken so many great teams and ran them straight into the ground in the playoffs. I was an agonizing witness to just this in 2002, when he decided to pull Russ Ortiz in game 6 in favor of Felix freaking Rodriguez, who any idiot knew wasn't ready for that moment and had been the absolute worst pitcher for the Giants all year long. I won't blame him for 2003, as the Cubs are just the Cubs, but that was a pretty crushing blow to his resume as well. He's like the San Jose Sharks of MLB managers.
