*There is a post here proclaiming the greatness of Indiana baseball and directing possible smack talk against their future opponent. It is otherwise unremarkable and is rightly ignored.*

Oregon and Virginia also advance as well.

Nope. Oregon and Rice play a winner take all game tomorrow after splitting the past two days.

As for Mississippi State, what is it with Central Arkansas? That's the third time they've beaten us this year. We've committed 4 errors in the two regional games we played against them, but we were able to win the first one thanks to our hitting. Now we're about out of pitching for tomorrow and I'm staring to get scared. Hopefully they're out of pitching too.

At least we're not alone in playing tomorrow. UNC, Vandy, and Oregon are too.

LSU, Kansas State, and Oregon State also advance to Super Regionals.

I just watched the Alabama/Troy game from yesterday and wow, what a game. That kid from Troy who came in to pinch hit off the bench and slapped one down the 3rd base line to put his team back into the game was great to watch...but then seeing the Alabama pitcher fall apart in the bottom of the 9th and walk in the winning run, that was painful to witness. Felt bad for the guy.

ASU got bounced last night by CSU Fullerton. Funny to see my old school beat my current school.

If you aren't watching this UNC/FAU game, you are missing out. One of the best games across all levels I have seen in a long time!

After hitting a grand slam to go ahead in the 9th, FAU gives up 2 to UNC and goes to extra innings...then in the 12th, FAU hits another HR and goes up by 3 more. 11-8 FAU now.

Yeah, Andrea threw a wrench in the plans, so we have six series that open on Saturday.

LSU opened with a 2-0 over Oklahoma while UCLA and Cal State Fullerton are in a duel.

Indiana beats Florida State 10-9 for their first ever Super Regional win.

Mississippi State beats Virginia 11-6 on 20 hits. Adam Frazier went 6 for 6 and Hunter Renfroe went 4 for 5, he appears to be finally out of his slump.

Louisville is tied 2-2 with Vandy in the top of the 7th. 2 outs and bases loaded, Vandy is changing pitchers.

UPDATE- 2 RBI single, Louisville takes 4-2 lead.

We have two teams in Omaha. LSU and UCLA won their super regionals and advance to Omaha.

Actually here are the matchups for Omaha:

South Carolina/North Carolina winner vs. NC State

LSU vs. UCLA

A year ago, these two teams were placed in the same bracket. LSU was the #7 National Seed while UCLA was the #2 National Seed. The Bruins did their part, but LSU was upended by Stony Brook. This year, there was no stopping either team as they both rolled through their Regionals and then rolled in the Super Reigonals. Now, the match up that never happened last year is now happening this year in Omaha

Louisville vs. Indiana

Every year, you get a matchup that is very unexpected and this one is no different. Louisville has only been to Omaha once and with it's appearance in Omaha, the Cards are giving the old Big East one final hurrah before it becomes the American Athletic Conference in July. Indiana hasn't been here before and the Big Ten itself hasn't had a team in Omaha since 1984, when Michigan made it. Both teams had to take down two of the best in the nation in Vanderbilt and Florida State respectively. Now that they are in Omaha, these two teams will meet once again this season with the Hoosiers taking 2 out of 3 games earlier this season.

Kansas State/Oregon State winner vs. Mississippi State
