fouhy12
ESPN recently made a 30 for 30 Shorts video about Clint Malarchuk and his life after hockey. For those who don't know, Malarchuk was a Buffalo Sabres goalie who had his neck sliced open by a skate blade. I found this short film to be very interesting to watch, and I learned a lot about Malarchuk.http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9319085/clint-malarchuk-20-year-road-recovery-latest-30-30-documentary-series fouhy12's NFL Concepts 2020

CS85
I'll watch it tonight. Not looking forward to seeing his throat vomit blood 15 feet across the ice again, but... dbadefense1990
The only disappointing thing about this was the fact that it was labeled as a "short," and not a full-featured film.Other than that, interesting film.

Sport
Everytime I go play a pick-up game I think about Malarchuk and Zednik. There's no medical personnel watching our games. If somebody takes a skate blade to the jugular they'll bleed out. Granted, we aren't as physical so bodies aren't flying around the same way, but accidents can always happen. It feels like it should happen more often.
