Gamingboy
I just got this idea: To get around the "Maurice Clarett" problems, why not have a NFL 2. It'd be minor league football that could have a 10 game schedule (then 2 rounds of playoffs) that would end about a month before training camp. It'd be for draft picks, people who moved up from high school, recruits, guys from the CFL and Arena football etc. etc. Anyway my idea of where NFL 2 teams would be is.... (I'll need alot of help on this)Arizona- TucsonAtlanta- BirminghamBaltimore- Norfolk or Hampton RoadsBuffalo- RochesterCarolina- DurhamChicago- PeoriaCincinati- DaytonCleveland- ColumbusDallas- Little RockDenver- Salt Lake CityDetroit- Grand RapidsGreen Bay- MilwaukeeHouston- San AntonioIndianapolis- Fort Wayne(GOD I NEED HELP HERE)Jacksonville- PensacolaKansas City- OmahaMiami- Fort MyersMinnesota-Des MoinesNew England- HartfordNew Orleans- Mobile or Baton RougeNew York Giants- AlbanyNew York Jets- Long IslandOakland- LA OR Sacramento (I put in LA since, well, LA needs SOME type of Football team!)Philly- Scranton/Wilkes-Berry or Harrisburg.Pittsburgh-ErieSan Diego- Las VegasSan Francisco- San JoseSeattle- PortlandSt. Louis- Tampa Bay- St.Pete or OrlandoTennesse- Memphis (seeing as how they use to play there)Washington- Washington DC (seeing as how the Redskins are now in washington only by name)Okay everyone! Help me fill it out! Where would NFL minor league teams play? Insert Witty Signature Here.
the_cynic
I thought they didn't want these kinds of kids playing "pro ball" so they would actually be more inclined to go to school. I know your league is totally fictitious but I'm just raising the question. Waffles
I think the best spots for the Giants' and Jets' teams would be Albany and Long Island, respectively, as that's where both teams have their summer training facilities.

Gamingboy
Well Miltown, you probably didn't know this, but a stadium is being built for soccer in Rochester, it could double for a football field. Insert Witty Signature Here.
walkerws
Not to be a killjoy but they already have an NFL 2. It's in Europe. The monor league football community HAS been trying to get some sort of a true minor league system but to no avail.

robbman21
Well, being as close ot the Cowboys organization as I am I would say thar their team would DEFINITELY be here in Little Rock.Jones and his family are from here, and for that matter the vast majority of the brass that runs the Cowboys and their wives are from Arkansas. In Central AR they were even called the Arkansas Cowboys when Jones first bought the team. For years they have been trying to get a pre-season game in Little Rock or Fayetteville but have been unable to get an agreement down.So....without a doubt the only place you could have the Cowboys' minor league team would be Little Rock, though they would probably play under the "Arkansas" name. Nah, I didn't know that. But soccer stadiums tend to not be long enough for football. Either the stadium would need moveable seats at one end or the end zones would have to be shrunk down to 7 yards each. Joshawaggie
Minnesota could have theirs in Fargo.. we were close to gettin the Summer camp here, the only snag was that Gov Pawlenty of MN didnt want money to leave Minnesota, even thought we are RIGHT THERE... @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats

Discrim
the Brew wouldn't wanna share their field with a minor league team, especially since their play is now deserving of major league status and although there are high school fields with half-decent locker rooms and stands, they're in the burbs and the team would only be Milwaukee in name. sort of like how the Marauders play in Tosa and claim Milwaukee anyways, i'd put the baby Bears in Decatur as a thanks to their original home. that, or Platteville to thank its former training camp home.
