The FC Hansa Rostock today is the most pupular football club from former East Germany! They won the last East German Title and were the only club from East Germany that was established in the Bundesliga for a long time. They are also at least in the Top 10 of Germanys most popular Football Clubs and with all that I hope that they'll be back in 2020. Currently they just play in the third division.

The colours of the club are blue and white but I also put some red in the jersys like they had in the 90s because there is actually not much blue and red in German soccer. The design at all should look nautical as Rostock is an important harbour of the baltic sea.

Hertha is the most successful and actually the only really relevant club from Berlin in the history of the league. The club's most successful times were before the war in the 20s and 30s when Hertha was one of the best teams in Germany and won two German Titles. Because of the division of Berlin the times were hard for Football Clubs in the West of the city. Hertha never really established itself in the league except for some more successful times in the 70s and in the last decade.

Today they played the last two of three years in the second league. But this year they play a good season so far.

Hertha never really had a traditional kit design. They often wore blue and white stripes or just white kits with blue shorts. But they also went with dark blue or totally blue jerseys. So I really had freedom to do what I want. I went with a modern and fresh navy blue kit with royal blue stripes. The away kit is traditionally red and black, which are the colours of Berlin. The third kit is leaned on those jerseys from the 20s and 30s.

Seeing that Hertha concept makes me less able to wait for next year's kits knowing that it's time for a departure from the blue and white stripes... :P

Really good stuff all around, mate. Love the concept of Hansa back in the BuLi and the Hertha concept is pretty close to what I'd love to see them wearing. You're doing a really good job of representing the league as a whole IMO. Well done.

HA HO HE!

Schalke is a very traditional German club and they kind of always had success. Before the Bundesliga was established they won seven German titles. Today they are maybe the biggest club in Germany without winning any Bundesliga title. There are many jokes about that fact in Germany, especially from their big rivals from Dortmund. ^^

Schalke usually wears blue home shirts combined with white shorts and blue socks. I also added some black accents to the whole set to make it a little more fresh and modern. And yes, I just made them my 2020 champions randomly, that's why the Bundesliga badge is golden. ;)

At the moment Borussia Dortmund is the number two in Germany after Bayern Munich. They are one of the most successful clubs of the country with 8 titles and also one Champions League win in 1997. After that they had some financial troubles because they actually wanted and invested too much. So after 2003 they played against the relegation for a few years. But after Jürgen Klopp was presented as the coach in 2008 they raised on the top of the world again in a never seen quickness. They won two German titles in the last three years and reached the Champions League final this year!

The home kit I created is leaned on those kits from the 90s, when Dortmund had their first big era.

The Dortmund kits are beautiful....but are the Bundesliga Titles and German Titles reversed?

Oh yes, that's right. I changed it.

The black and yellow stripes were actually just used in the Champions league. They wore them since the 90s in this competition. I'm not sure if they ever wore a striped shirt in the Bundesliga at all.

The HSV is the only club that played every single season in the Bundesliga since it's creation in 1963. That's why the club is known as the 'dinosaur' in Germany. They are also one of the most successful clubs with three titles (six German titles at all), and they won the CL in 1983. In this period they were one of the best teams in the world. Toady they are a very inconstant club with many scandals (actually kinda like Hertha in the last decade). Franz Beckenbauer said that there are two clubs in Germany that have the overall potential to be Top-Clubs: Bayern and Hamburg. The HSV makes too little out of their opportunities.

The club's colours are blue, black and white. But these colours are traditionally just on the socks. They wear white shirts and red shorts as these are the colours of Hamburg.

While I look the uniforms, I'd update the crest a little bit. It looks more like a national flag than a soccer crest IMO. And I'm not really feelin' the plad.

So, the 1. FC Union from Berlin never actually played in the Bundesliga. They were part of the East German League and are the biggest rival of the GDR record champions Dynamo Berlin, who were supported by the East German government. That had political reasons as the supporters of Union were against the socialism in the country and so the club was much observed by the socialistic regime in the GDR.

After the wall fell they established as the second force in Berlin after Hertha. Today they are actually the only really relevant club from Berlin besides Hertha. Because of their history and the culture of their fans (which is pretty similar to the famous FC St. Pauli) there raised a cult around that club in recent years. Today they are a very strong force in the second German League and I'm very sure that they will go to the Bundesliga in the next few years, if not 2014.

The traditional kits of Union are red and white. I chose some halfed shirts because they actually wore some of those in their history. I added a yellow away shirt and a retro Atlernate!

And I think Adidas would sponsor Union if they go to the Bundesliga as a counterpart to Nike and Hertha.

St. Pauli is a cult club like Union, but in a much bigger way. They are one of the most popular teams in Germany and you barely find people that don't like that club (well, except the HSV and also Rostock fans who hate them). You can also see St. Pauli fanwear wherever you are in the country. They are actually a bit like the Charlotte Hornets of Germany! ^^

They got that popular because of their fans which are like Union's very political and overall left oriented. In my Bundesliga they would definitely be a part of, because the league at all makes more fun with them.

The special thing about St. Pauli is also that they wear brown uniforms. I don't know any other single Football Club in the world that does that. I went with a hooped home shirt.

Good to see two Kult clubs strongly represented in your Bundesliga - both are looking sharp, although I prefer the St Pauli third over the home.

Just on the Union away shirt - is the band on the chest supposed to slope? I think it just jars a little due to the rectangular crest.
