Well, I just came home and played it for PS3...let me tell you, that backward buc logo is, unfortunately, in the game like that and that list from the link is accurate of what the teams can choose from. It's weird that you can choose the Cheifs Red on Red, but not the white on white combo. I haven't gotten the chance to see most of them yet as it's not like the older maddens where it showed you the generic guy. It just describes the uni. For instance, I play with TB. I can play with their Red/Pewter, Red/White, Throwback, White/Pewter. Where is White/White? Where are the throwback whites? The thing that pisses me off most is that EA USED to have these uniforms, but now they don't. Well, I guess we can't complain after being shafted with college jersey choices...

I am currently playing TB at Carolina. I put Caro in their blue jerseys and they have all white socks on. What's funny is, the animated players on the bench have the correct socks on. We should start a poll of messed up unis and lack of unis. Heck, just what I've seen in about 2 hours I have the backward throwback TB logo on the helmet, lack of White/White combo, and Carolina's lack of sock color. Knowing EA, there's probably a ton more. In fact, I'm not so sure there is an orange bengal jersey either. WTF EA?

EDIT: Also, it seems like alternates are just different options on dark jerseys. Ex. No Bears/Bucs/Chiefs/Falcons/etc White on White. All the throwbacks seem dark too. The Titans, however, seem to have all their options...like White/White White/Navy and White/Light blue...wonder if that has anything to do with the cover athlete?

Kinda OT, but I seemed to notice that there was a silver outline on the raiders away jersey. I dunno if I was seeing things, or if its always been like that or what. Could someone please clarify that for me?

The Steelers having yellow (gold) on black????? What's the deal with having a classic look and a throwback. Is the classic look supposed to be the 1990's and 80's look, then the throwback is whenever they had leather helmets?

i think throwback means they'll wear it this season, and classic means it's just a vintage uniform they decided to throw in for fun.

Amazing how much money EA paid for the ESPN rights, only to not use them at all in their football titles. Madden is a good game and I'll enjoy it, but the presentation sucks and keeps it from being a better game. We should have full ESPN and Monday Night Football presentation, with the MNF booth and everything. Same graphics, same camera angles, same music.

And they need to let you see the uniforms while picking. And give us more uni choices.

That should be it. It took forever since they canned the preview. I'm not sure if I missed some minor details on uniforms. Bottom line is EA shafted the away alts as Tenn is the only one with them (Cover boy perhaps?) Helmets were 1/2 assed (GB/SD using current for throwback, etc) and the usual f ups are present. Rams wear GOLD PANTS AT HOME!!! and stuff like that garbage. The biggest problems I have are that away alternates are missing, some teams are sporting unis they don't wear anymore (Phins aqua pants), uniforms are present when a current alt is missing (TB orange which will never be worn and missing current white/white) and stuff like that. The biggest issue I have with EA is that some uniforms that were ALREADY ON PREVIOUS GAMES are gone (Bengals orange, Phins White/White, etc)

well the ps2 version is a joke. They don't even have the combo Vic young is wearing on the cover!

The falcons have seriously not been touched since '04 came out. (There's a glitch were the white/black road combo is only availiable at home)

They fixed the Ravens' socks

Vikings have no updated WHT/WHT road combo

But I love football and it's cheaper so I'll survive

Lack of uni choices should not be a determining factor in one's purchase of a video game.

That being said, EA should do a better job of keeping these up to date. Let us choose the jersey and pants individually so we can create any combo we want. Then give each team at least a couple throwbacks and let us see the uniform while we are choosing (like we could on the original XBOX).
