The first set is a variation of the one's I've posted, but with the matching "Colorado" wordmark. This wouldn't be the primary logo, just a version of it for "other" purposes. The other ones are just me playing around with a connection to the current logo. I'm still working on placing a ball in there, but I haven't gotten it to where it actually looks good. It almost looks familiar. The only thing I can think of is Coors Light, but it really looks nothing like that. It's starting to bother me now. I'm not sure if I like the others any better than your original. The only other thing I can think of trying with the wordmark itself is enlarging the "R" and "S" in Rockies to make it bookend "COLORADO" inside of it. McCall Posted November 19, 2012 Author Share Posted November 19, 2012 Ok, old thread I'm bringing back because I have been working on some changes that'll hopefully and finally lead me to finishing this concept that originated 4 years ago. I've done some revisions to the logo here; I changed the font in hopes of coming up with something that would better translate over to the jerseys. I took into consideration of some people's preference for the "slab" that "Colorado" is on to not be included, so I did 2 basic versions, one with and one without. I also experimented with no outline around the wordmark. Some also mentioned including some form of "streaking" ball. So these feature that in, and I stress a very rough draft form. I fully intend to make both the streaks and ball better, like actually including seams. I just included this to get some feedback about the direction I'm going.So here is where I'm currently at. I do have a matching Colorado wordmark and the Rockies jersey wordmark will be slightly altered, just maybe a bit thinner and the letters not as close together. Shumway Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 I'd say 4's your strongest here. The subtle shape for the "Colorado" isn't much, but it really seems to make a difference. I'm also including my sleeve patch idea. 3 options with the area behind the mountain. My preference is the white or silver. Just throwing purple out there.I actually got the purple and silver from ColorWerx site. I just sampled the swatches he had posted.
