T-ROY Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 If you didn't know by now, the Hamilton Bulldogs of the OHL held a jersey design contest for which the winner would become their new set for the 2016-17 season and if you missed Chris' post about it on the main site, you'd know that the 3 finalists would work best as a napkin at an all-you-can-eat rib buffet. I know there were much better designs submitted, but I haven't seen all of them so I'd like to see what designs they turned down to pick the 3 ugliest designs they could have. I think on the blue jersey if you had a full red sleeve with white and gold stripes it would look amazing. Still looks good as a dark jersey but the piping is always a no for me. I gotta disagree. I don't see how what I did is a Columbus rip-off. You wanna see a Columbus rip-off? Just go look at Tri-City's jerseys. I don't think just because it has piping on the sleeves and has somewhat of the same colors as Columbus it should be considered a Columbus rip-off. I'll post an updated version later. All the teams for some reason need it on the template they had on the contest page. Just wondering because this probably would have been a finalist in my eyes. I'm also seeing a bunch of people with personal information on their entries and I didn't know we had to have that either. It was very poorly run. chcarlson23 Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 These were my two entries into the contest, (because you were allowed as many as you want...) the red and blue one was based loosely on their current uniforms, and the black, red and yellow one is based off the Bellville Bulls. And I don't know about the contest being rigged as much as the contest was supposed to be a bunch of little kids make uniforms that the team would "BASE" the jerseys off of. And if they picked very professional designs, some little kid would get upset and the Parents would sue the off of the Bulldogs, because it wasn't fair.
