I'm excited by the change. The old court always looked kind of washed out and dull, and the new one is definitely a step forward. I would prefer a little bit more color on the court itself, but I'm happy with the new one.

There’ll obviously be a cardinal road version, and I would think a black alternate as well.

Team is unveiling one each day but this should be the typical layout for the away (navy) and alternates (black and grey). Then they have two throwbacks: royal and powder blue.

Yeah, there are some similarities. I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet that the new ones were partially inspired by those.

Here’s a glimpse at Cal’s new UA basketball uniforms:

Looks like the Sather stripe is on the shoulders and waistband, and I would think it’ll be somewhere else on the shorts as well. Not sure how I feel about them using the script logo on the front. They’ve done it before, but I think I’d prefer a regular wordmark on the home white and road navy jerseys, with the Cal script logo saved for the gold alternates.

If they're going to go with the script I'd like to see them use the full script on the uniform, possibly in a sheared angle or arched.

The actual home and away uniforms look much better than I expected after seeing the concept graphics, but I have my doubts on the gray uniforms....that shade just does not look good and especially not without any navy.

These may just be the practice jerseys. They have a gold version as well in practice and the shorts look pretty awesome (I will be buying a pair ASAP)
