Best I can tell, it will be a professional American football league, not unlike NFL Europe, but beyond that.... information is spotty and my attempts to contact them on various social media has been fruitless. There is a Frankfurt team that still calls themselves the Galaxy, but with a different logo. Colors are still the same though. Most likely the German teams will be from the German Football League (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Football_League). I suspect they'll have limits on American players on each roster as well. Both to find out more about it, and to possibly get a job with them, but no one has responded. They won't answer their e-mails, nor have I been able to get a hold of them via Twitter or Facebook. Could mean the return of the Berlin Thunder as well If you click further on that link, it shows the Frankfurt and Hamburg teams are joining a league that already includes these teams: Wroclaw Panthers, Barcelona Gladiators, Stuttgart Scorpions, German Knights 1367 Niedersachsen and Ingolstadt Praetorians. Seeing as they changed the Hamburg Sea Devils logo, it's probably case of the NFL letting them lapse. I remember the Galaxy logo still being used after 2007 before a different logo was designed by the Frankfurt team in the GFL. It still makes no sense to change the colors to it. Purple and orange looked way better than it does now. This must have just happened today. Their instagram feed shows what looks like a press conference with the old WLAF/NFL Europe helmet on a table across from another one with the new logo. (It almost looks Photoshopped onto that picture, which would be weird.)
