Absolutely hate the huge patch

A promo video to showcase a advertising sleeve patch?

A new low.......

😔

Worst part is all the morons in the X comments that say they are fine with it as long as it gets players to sign extensions.

Just how stupid are these people?

The deal is small change ..... and it's not worth ruining a uniform over. And no, it will not bring you a WS ring!

That's just it. These patches aren't generating enough income to positively affect the product on the field or move the needle financially for an organization. The Guardians have a jersey sponsor, yet they have one of the lowest payrolls in the league.

Denver nuggets have that right?

Wondering if you're right is the most time I've spent thinking about the NBA ever...so I have no idea if you're correct. 🤪

Also if every team has a jersey sponsor then it doesn't change anything. It just means salaries will get inflated more and the bottom spending teams will still have the same issues.

It actually makes it worse, because a team like the Yankees will get more money from their jersey sponsor than will the Brewers.

Orioles announce T. Rowe Price as uniform sponsor

One of the most unique and beautiful color schemes in the league, and the new patch just bursts right through it like the Kool-Aid man through a brick wall.  Oof.

Oh, my...I could have gone my entire life without seeing that. Now I can't unsee it, and I'm wondering about the other zero under the mini ad patch.

Just did a quick search on the Orioles' sponsorship deal and there was no word on how many utility infielders per year the deal is worth. Not a good sign.

So, is that the last CityConnect? If so:

0/28

Not a single one of these is worth retaining past the life of this program.

The Marlins and Angels are great. The half goes to the Rays because they have elements they can use for an amazing rebrand.

Agreed. Especially on the Angels. I feel like those were the most underrated of the batch. In fact, I like them more than most of the iterations of their usual look. It was clean, classy, but had some personality that fit the area.

The Marlins and Rays need a rebrand badly. Their CC's definitely breathed some life into their brand.

It's his actual jersey number

I'm generally an advocate for front jersey numbers. In this case, not so much.
Now, could you people please stop making me waste brain time on the NBA?
Thank you! 😆

We're just going to have to agree to disagree on that one. 0-28. 😇

Trying to bring sanity (and basic economics) into this discussion is like wrestling a pig; you're going to get muddy and the pig's going to enjoy it.

IMO, the way forward for both the Marlins and Rays is to go backwards. Save for the Marlins' pinstripes, I'd return to the original looks for both teams. I would change the Marlins' colors to teal, orange and black. Since the Rays (foolishly) dropped "Devil" from their name (thanks, Christian Dominionists!), I'd just do "Rays" in the original variegated script and add a front number. Problems solved. You're welcome! 😛

I would agree that most of these aren’t great, including my Minnesota Twins. Almost all of these feel like let downs, with how good they could have been… But the White Sox seems to be a perfect blend of both city and team branding. I don’t really like the Sox, but honestly wouldn’t mind having one of those jerseys.

What is it about that one you don’t like?
