PhlyBoy
The Chargers easily have a top 5 look in the league. I don't really like the helmet number, but man it is an amazing uniform. I have always thought they should add a pair of powder blue pants for ONLY road games, but would fear they'd try to pair it up at home. I honestly can't believe this Charger slander

The both the yellow and white pants look great with the white jersey. I get that the Houston Oilers looked good like this, but it hasn't been the Chargers aesthetic. 1 Quote It's where I sit. I just think when people think of the Chargers they think of the powder blue and would be a good option if they ever play say the Packers or Steelers who also wear yellow pants

Powder pants would be ok but only if hey got some white stripe socks for. Maybe like P/Y/P stripes on it. 2 Quote All New: NFL RandomWebsite ★ Behance ★ Twitter ★ Geekier Twitter
Dynasty
Powder blue pants would also provide the Chargers the option of a mono-powder blue look for home games. I think I would pass on that; sticking with white and yellow is just for the best. 6
ruttep
Technically the only sock option that the Chargers currently have for their primary uniforms is powder blue, so adding powder blue pants would most likely mean a powder blue leggings look. No thanks.

(and maybe also ditch the outlining on the numbers) I prefer the logic of the current bolts (disregarding the navy alternates, which intentionally break these rules): 1) Is the lightning bolt placed on a yellow surface? If no, the bolt is yellow. If yes, the bolt is white. 2) Is the bolt placed on a blue surface? If no, then the bolt's outline is blue. If yes, then the outline is white. People forget how disjointed the Chargers were for so long with different bolts on different surfaces with different rules and they couldn't get any form of logic or consistency: That was the one thing I appreciated about the 90s look: they made a decision and committed to the bit (white bolt, outlined in blue and then gold, always on a blue surface): 11
Brave-Bird 08
I have such a greater appreciation, if not a remorseful longing, for the 90s-2000s Chargers uniforms. I was born in 90, so around the time teams began moving to the piped out Reebok styles at the turn of the century I saw it through the lens of either you had cool uniforms (Patriots, Falcons, Cardinals, Vikings, etc) or you had lame uniforms. Even with the bolt convention, I thought the Chargers uniforms were bland and boring and initially thought the changes they made to them with the switch to white helmets was a clear upgrade. I can't disagree more with my former self. Those uniforms were stupendously good.

FiddySicks
I hope that some day the Chargers get a powder blue alt helmet. It’d be super unique, and I like the Chargers better in a helmet that isn’t white. The white helmet on top of the powder jersey and gold pants is a bad look now and was a bad look back in the day. It looks disjointed and cheap. I know, not a popular opinion. 2 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) FiddySicks
I’d swap the bolt colors and remove the blue in the middle to match the jersey bolts, but yeah. Something like that would look great. Maybe not matte, though. 6 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) It can work if the pants and jerseys are the same color and the socks are white, as much as I don't like solid white socks. If the Chargers had powder blue helmets as an option that would help.
