jkrdevil
if you have a friend that has photoshop you can borrow it from them. The one from download.com is a trail version in which you can't save your work.
mjrbaseball
I use a scaled-down version called "Photoshop Elements" ... It doesn't have all the features of the full Photoshop, but it works well. And the price is reasonable, only about $30.

And the price is reasonable, only about $30. I used that when I was younger, I'm sure you could do pretty much anything you'd want to in terms of concepts, saving files and what not. I'm sure if you go into best buy and get one of those cheapy programs, they'd work out fine. Over half the stuff that's availible in photoshop is rarely used. Waffles
Also, if you're a college student (or you know one), head to a campus bookstore...all types of software are heavily discounted at most schools with student ID. Some schools even take other school's ID for the discount.

CC97
I'm currently using Photoshop CS, I use a lot of the features in there but didn't really until after I took a year-long Photoshop exclusive college course. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net  "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram

zoneranger
I use Photoshop 5, but if you go to a place like Ebay you can probably pick up an older version (even 5 is old at this point) for a song.
