Lemme hear you say "BITTER!"

It's warranted to be bitter, but not to drag the horse into another thread

Any chance that you will do NCAA Football teams in the future, perhaps? Somebody awhile back posted some Washington Huskies numbers. Those were helpfull, since those fonts are hard to come by.

Yes, that is a possibility. But everyone needs to have great patience with these, they are very time consuming. I am trying to get some done when I have free time.

These are amazing, thank you. Just found something wrong with the Patriots #4, the inner part of the '4' is too small, see below...

Yes, please fix the 4 and the 2 for the Patriots!!

if you want, the site is up @ http://www.worldamericandesigns.com

I'm still working on getting everything up, so not all the pages are up yet. Just look around.

Baltimore Fan, email me at skater21na@yahoo.com and I'll get you larger numbers for the Pats ASAP.

I'm re-doing the number layout, so when that's done, I'll have them up.

man, some of you guys . . .

"fix this nick and jp!"

these gentlemen took hours, even days out of their lives to create this resource, and you cant handle the fact that some of them are a little too thick in some places. thats something you can do in paint, in just as little time as it takes in illustrator. take this amazing tool for what its worth, suck it up, and fix them yourself if youre that ungrateful. they dont have to make these available to anyone, they are kind enough to do so out of their own free will as a wonderful service to the board.

i apologize for the rant, and good day. :D

I've got a question for you McFarlane Customizers that are reading this. What do you guys use for decal paper? When I was making them 2 years ago I used Avery brand shipping labels and had to use a very light coating of super glue to get them to stay on,and then I would spary coating of clear coat over the whole thing when I was done.I know several customizers use these but I've seen some on Ebay that appear thinner and more like what is on the actual ones so I'm just wondering if there is another type of paper you guys use??

Yes, but I'm actually glad people see these things because I'm very picky about them, because I want them to be as close to 'perfect' as possible.

I appreciate what they did, no doubt about it. 99% of what they've done is excellent work. SO THANK YOU NICK AND JP!

However, a little critique shouldn't be out of the question. I want the numbers to look authentic, and since I don't have Illustrator and Paint is a piece of crap, I don't really see what the big problem is telling them that a number or two is slightly off.

There is special decal paper that you can find at most hobby shops. I don't remember the name, check out customsbyjomo.com, and check the links for tips. I think he links to a couple sites for the different companies that make the paper and the special liquids to apply them to your figures.

sorry for the misunderstanding. like i said, it is not about striving for mediocrity. i am as much a perfectionist as anyone here, but if something is a little off, i am not the one to tell the creator to fix it. i usually take it upon myself to correct it. it is an independence issue, not a mediocrity issue.

okay, heres what i notice. on most of the standard block 4s and even some of the custom 4s like tha pats, the negative space does not look large enough. the 4s look "too thick" in comparison with the rest of the numbers.

on some of the other standard block numbers, most easily seen on the 5s and 6s in my opinion, but also present on others, the horizonatal segments look thinner than the vertical segments. they should be uniform thickness throughout the number.

as noted before thanks to the great photos, the chargers 1 has a very slight "cup" in the top serif.

the buccanneers numbers look too thick to me in general, but that may simply be an illusion.

that is all i remember off hand for you guys.

As far as the horizontal strokes looking thinner on 5's and 6's, it might be an illusion. I can double check what I have, but I'm pretty sure I made them the same. But visually, even when both horizontal and vertical strokes are equal widths, one might look wider than the other. And many middle strokes of 5's are higher than 6's. It's odd, but it sometimes happens from team to team.

The Buccaneers' have very thick outlines on their numbers. They are the only team I can think of in the NFL with outlines that way.

As far as the 4's go, sometimes the most accurate ones look wrong, and the triangular holes might have been adjusted visually. It might look even more off considering the silver is a very light shade and almost blends with the white, making the numbers look extra "bold".

I'll check for the cup on the top arm of the 1 on the Chargers too.

I have fixed EVERY single imperfection that has been noticed.

All the 4's are fine, it's just the visual appearance.

I had to fix the Packers 5, the Eagles 7 and the Chargers 1.

The 4 on the Pats was SLIGHTLY off, which has been fixed.

I picked the wrong time to try and stop posting
