Logo, uniforms... the works.Step # 1: Utilize all of the hues in the official team color palette (San Diego Chargers Navy Blue, San Diego Chargers Collegiate Blue, San Diego Chargers Gold and White) at all times. In other words, the team's logos, wordmarks and uniforms will all use all four colors.Step # 2: Establish that San Diego Chargers Navy Blue is the team's primary color, with San Diego Chargers Collegiate Blue and San Diego Chargers Gold as the secondary colors. White will be an accent color.Step # 3: Keep the helmets and one of the jerseys primarily San Diego Chargers Navy Blue. Have San Diego Chargers Collegiate Blue play a significant role in this jersey (i.e. as the color of insert panels). The other jersey will be primarily White.Step # 4: While maintaining the traditional lightning bolts as helmet logos and jersey/pant trim elements, design a new primary mark. Not a lot, just a little piping on numbers and perhaps "indian" style stipes like what FSU has on their collars.2. Buffalo Bills: I am a Bills fan, and I like the Buffalo, but the new uniforms are horrible. Keep the navy, keep royal, keep red, but ditch the nickel. Make the Buffalo navy with royal highlights, minor tweaking. Simplify the helmet and the striping on all uniform varients.1. J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!-- Sorry traditionalists, the logo was lame in 1969 and it ain't any better today. Keep the new darker green, bring back a little more black and get a new logo, maybe something with oh, I don't know, a JET in it!!!!!!! Waste of a good nickname, complete waste. Let designers design. Existing stuff may be classic or whatnot, but let designers take a shot at stuff, or no one will ever change. I'd be happy to see anyone's take on any team. I used to use Thurman Thomas based names, but I would always forget which one I was using for different sites and could never keep them straight. This one I knew I could remember. I really ought to change it though. Problem is that once you use a name on one of these messageboards, you have to offer a new e-mail address to change the name.If you know of a way to change ID names on these things, I would gladly switch to a good Joe Ferguson reference, or maybe a Joe Cribbs. I like light blue as much as the next guy, but I have seen so many other teams in other leagues and sports pull off the light blue so much better than the chargers. I live both of the looks and I really like the #s on the helmets. Both are great looks, but dont combine them!
