NJTank
THis is the lame ass movie Fox did a cut away from the Red Sox celebration to show the filming off on the field after they won Game 4. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
slapshot
When they were filming the movie, I was curious to see what the plotline was going to be.After seeing the trailer, I'm still wondering.Pass. Unless it becomes a date movie. And this coming from a die-hard Sox fan. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
mac
this looks like one you see with the woman, but you go with hope that it won't totally suck because it's sort of a sports movie but there is a cheesy formulaic love story that doesn't happen in real life, kind of like Jerry Maguire. Breakwood
lol Boston wins the world series for the first time since the 10's and they make a movie about it. I wanted the sox to beat the yanks at the time but now im sick of it and if they were to meet again i'd hope both their buses crash so neither of them will win. As the poster before me said, see the original butter yet read the book, then form your opinion. I dislike Jimmy Fallon as much as anyone (the horsefaced Drew Barrymore too for that matter), but it was in production during the 2004 season, BEFORE the playoffs. The original is sometimes on IFC or Sundance. With this new verson out, it should be in greater rotation.
pcgd
They changed the ending cause the sox won.The only thing that can possibly save this movie would be the Farrelly Brothers. But, they've been going downhill. After "Stuck on You" I was hoping for more out of them. Looks like a "Swing and a Miss"Swish!
