boardname
This is of course the only board where this topic might not be laughed off as that of a lunatic..I want a Dodgers hat. I don't want the straight-up blue LA hat, because I've got a lot of blue hats and I'm just not a huge fan of that one. What I really want is a black hat. But not just the black hat with white LA, which they sell, because I think that's kind of boring. I want a black hat with a blue LA outlined in white, exactly like this black version of the regular Oakland A's hat.I know they only make that one because it was (or still is) part of the A's alternate set. But they don't make a Dodgers version, as far as I can tell. Frustration!`

Ron Mexico
Ewww, shower mold! Those uniforms were one of the worst in the history of sports. Those were some of the better hats to come out in the last decade, and I don't even like teams adding black for the hell of it. bigwalk
I want either an all navy Braves hat without the NE logo (like they wore on Sunday against Baltimore last year and like they wore on the road in the late 60s when they first got to Atlanta) or a Braves hat that is the antithesis of the current hats...red with a navy bill and white A, like their minor league teams wear. teenchy
I want a decent Milwaukee Braves cap.Does Mitchell and Ness even make caps anymore? M&N puts their name on those fashion caps, but I'm not sure they make any replica caps anymore. I bought a late '50s - 1960 Senators replica cap at their store a few years ago that was made by Roman Pro. A couple of years ago they had a big bargain bin of leftover caps on sale, also by Roman; my brother-in-law picked up a Boston Braves cap but not a Milwaukee one (of which there were several). Discrim
is anything more frustrating than knowing what hat you want and knowing it doesn't exist? yup...I can name one-knowing what jerseys you want and knowing not only that they're no longer made, but also that it's very difficult to get any jerseys of their ilk in your country A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull

ColeJ
is anything more frustrating than knowing what hat you want and knowing it doesn't exist?how about knowing what hat you want, knowing it exists, finding it in EVERY STORE, but knowing that the biggest size available anywhere is 7 5/8, when anything smaller than 7 7/8 is too small for your gigantic scottish head? Those are just about my favorite Braves hats of all time (not really sure why.) The other hat that I really want but would be almost impossible to find is a Duke baseball hat. The homes are just like Detroit except they're royal, and the road hats are black with a blue/white gothinc style D like the Tigers hat. I have a feeling that's not going to happen though.smilie

I think I'm going to have to call them. I have a whole bunch of M&N caps that are near the end of their lives, and I'm going to be seriously depressed if they've gotten out of the replica cap game.Yes, I know about www.ballcap.com, but their caps are woefully inaccurate.
