Bottom of the Barrel Predictions(NFL)

No, this time he's got Reuben "I want more money" Droughns. A product of the Denver running system. Gary was the first to go off and fail, Portis even though he rushed for 1300 yards still failed and Droughns will be the third.

Lets see. Even though he had a very good year, is making a ton of money, and is on a team that has a ton of future potential he still failed. Lemme guess, is that because hes not in the worlds most terriffic and wonderful state of Colorado?

Look Nick, theres homerism, and then theres you who takes it to a whole new level. Get over it, the Broncos arent going to win the Super Bowl, the Nuggets wont top the Suns to get to the NBA finals, the Rockies will not become the reincarnation of the yankees, the Avs arent going to win the cup this year, and the U of Colorado will never win a National Title

i don't follow the pakers, so i didn't know that they already has a replacement for farve. if thst's the case then i doubt they would take leinart. still, i do think they will be among the nfl's worst teams. mabey even worse then the browns, seeing as dilfer could deliever cleveland a respectible record. i just don't think farve has it in him anymore to go all the way, as seen in his last two playoff games (eagles, vikings).

Please, hook a brotha up with whatever you're smoking, the stuff I'm using just isn't doing the trick...

The Packers aren't the greatest, but they certainly aren't the worst, either. With a defense that really hasn't changed, the question is whether the Pack's offensive line is up to par. If so, there is nothing to say the Packers won't be back in the playoffs. Favre had one of his best seasons last year, and I haven't seen anything so far that has changed that.

They have fleeced the 'Skins two years in a row! Hmmm, coincides directly with the Joe Gibbs era, oddly enough.

Hey these trades are almost payback for ol' XXII. :D

I'm saying he failed because while he rushed for over 1300 yards, he didn't have a very productive year. I think he only had 7 touchdowns and was constantly complaining about how Gibbs was running the offense.

1. The Broncos are still not good enough to get past Indy or New England on the road.

2. The Nuggets still have to make progress to get past either Phoenix or San Antonio.

3. The Rockies, the Rockies, what's the word I'm looking for, oh yea, THEY SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK!!!!!!!!

4. The Avalance lost a bunch of good players, they'll be lucky to see the second round of the playoffs.

5. The University of Colorado already won a national title. They however won't be doing it again ANY time soon.

And to add, the Denver Pioneers are what? Back to back national hockey champions, yes, I do believe they are.

I think unfortunatly the bears will be good enough to get a 5-10 pick like they are every year. they can't seem to get over that hump of suck to get the number 1 pick.

But what am I saying...Jeff Blake and Kyle Orton will lead this team to Super Bowl XL!!!

Dolphins did nothing to improve themselves, drafted unproven rookie running back. Curtis Enis anyone? Ki Jana Carter?

Curtis Martin? Terrell Davis?? Clinton Portis?? Willis McGahee?? Weren't they all unproven?

I do have to say though, how many of those backs were drafted in the top 5?

Cards or Browns are my pick.

As for Miami, I think they're better than you give them credit for. Ricky, despite being a little high at times, can still play. And I think Gus Frerotte can be the Drew Brees of 2005.

I dunno, the Cards look like they could accually win the west. And calling Big Gus the next Drew Brees? Thats a bit of a stretch i think. Better than Jay Feidler, yes. Better than A.J Feeley, yes. The next Drew Breees, i dont know about that one.

... and the U of Colorado will never win a National Title

You might want to check your history before you say that.

you said that they would "NEVER win a national title" saying that never in their history have they and that they never would in the future.

They clearly have before, granted it was a while ago and I do remember watching the game.

However, it's going to be a very very long time before they have even a chance at doing so again.

I think they should have contended for one in 2002, but they got shafted.

Oh, and I never gave my answer to the original question. I think it will be one of the following teams to get the #1 pick; Chicago, Denver (from Washington) or San Francisco. Who will get Leinart is a mystery to me, probably da Bears.

Now unlike the Butch Davis area, the Browns now have one of the BEST talent evaluators in the entire NFL in Phil Savage, a brilliantly minded Head Coach in Romeo Crennel. Now the Browns more than likely will wind up in the Top 10 picks in the draft, heck maybe even the Top 5, but I guarentee you they will NOT take a Quarterback or specifically Matt Leinhart. The Browns have more pressing needs than a Quarterback, specifically the Offensive Line and their front 7 on defense. Now people the Browns could realistically take are A.J. Hawk - LB - Ohio State, D'Bricashaw Ferguson - OT - Virginia, Mathias Kiwaunka - DL - Boston College.
