Since I liked them so much the season they used them, I picked out the 70th Anniversary unis, created an away version of it, made a few small changes top clean them up, threw in a gold alternate for kicks (can't get enough of those metallic alts!), and also gave them a swell word mark. The white jerseys they currently wear is one of my favorite jerseys in the NFL, but i wouldnt be too upset if they switched to these, and for some crazy ass reason, i like that alt too. The only thing that i think would make it look better would be to keep the current helmet, just recolored. I love that helmet, even if it isnt terribly PC. lost_limey Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I'ts a pretty good version of the Spear Alt. and similar to what I tried to do in my 'Tweaks' project.My one comment is that with the Gold you've chosen, it screams FSU Seminoles, which is why I'd be in favor of this concept using the current Redskins colors. I think limey had a good idea with using this concept with the Skins current colors. Other than that, I don't think I have any other complaints. Good job. I don't know how I feel about the alt. If we're talking metallic gold that could look REALLY gross on TV.The home and roads are awesome. I like the spear design on the sleeves. Good stuff. The only similarities between this concept and My 49ers Concept are the colors, which arent even exact matches. Do a GOOGLE search for the University of Louisiana at Monroe (the 'Indians') and check the resemblance for yourself... mirror images basically. But I do like them for the Redskins to use, personally. I just want the current logo on the helmet of the 'Skins to be changed... new unis are due I believe. Just bringing this to ya'lls attention... little-known school in northeastern Louisiana that just has sucked it up in the SunBelt that last decade and is finallyyyyy doin' some good things in the conference besides being Georgia/Auburn/Florida's whipping boy! hahaaa.
