Everything is bigger in Texas

Except the people.

You hear about the long tall Texans, right? But when I was visiting Dallas-Fort Worth, I could not find a shirt that fits me. (I'm 6-5, 260 pounds).

Texans are shrimps.

maybe they arent up there in DFW, but about 2 years ago Houston was named the fattest city in the US. Detroit has now beat us out. But when it comes to height, I know we have alot of tall Texans here, me being a short cajun, i have to look up to everyone i talk to.

Helmet logo could be a bit smaller.

As for the uniform. It is an instant classic. Solid, not trendy, quality design. As Venturi said, "less is more".

Wrong.

Mies van der Rohe is credited with that design philosophy. Venturi usually rebuffed it with "Less is a bore."

But in the words of Frasier Crane...

"If less is more, just think how much more more would be."

I don't why how people can bash the Texans unis. This are one of the best in sports. It's so classy, and I really love the reds. With all of these horrible NFL jerseys that have recently come out, i'm looking at you buffalo, I love these; simple, but gets the job done.

I love the red jerseys, too. But unfortunately, the blue shoulder stripes get lost on them. On TV, they're impossible to see even when you're looking for them. They need to be wider, or maybe have a white border trim to them.

But overall, they are one of the best looks in the NFL, IMO. :D

The Texans' unis are clean, classic, and built to stand the test of time. The only gripe I would have would be the aforementioned "Patriot Problem" of the red tending to disappear on the pants stripe. Though it still looks pretty good. And once, just once, I'd like to see red jersey, navy pants, and red socks. Considering these unis should still be around in 20 years, maybe someday I will.

IMO if they shrunk the logo on the Texans helmet it would make the helmets look too plain and force them to put some sort of stripe pattern on the helmet and it would just kinda throw the entire look off balance

Going back to the original premise posed by BG:

everyone complains that helmet logos are getting smaller - Vikings, Redskins, Steelers, Dolphins, Chiefs, to name 5 - and now we're complaining that one is too big? ? Not only that, it's a well-designed logo that looks sharp at its present size. I disagree, and more teams should follow suit and go large. To paraphrase Jebediah Springfield, "A large, clear logo embiggens us all."

"Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

That's a cromulent opionion if I've ever heard one.
