Cujo
Okay guys, just a few things here. I touched up the logo by getting rid of the panther's neck which I think is something that needs to be done. I also and got rid of all silver and did a total overhaul on the uniforms. I think it may be a bit too flashy, but I think it would work. C&C. Thanks.
OB33
I agree that the concept is a little flashy but I think it works far better than the current unis. My one gripe is the panther head. With it being powder blue on a black helmet it makes the panther look like a ghost IMO. But I'd still rate this as an improvement over the current threads. #CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP
vicfurth
It's not bad. I concur with OB33 about the blue head on a black helmet, and I personally don't like the white shoulder tapers on the home / alt. You might tinker with that a bit. Also, I noticed a little inconsistency with your numbering. If you look at the home, the sleeves are blue with white numbers. On the alternate, the body of the jersey is blue with white numbers. However, on the away, the sleeves are blue with black numbers. I'd switch that, either making all the blue have black or white numbers. Not bad, not great, but could easily improve. TNT44
I'm a Panther fan, and I don't see anything wrong with the neck. I think the logo looks better with the neck, but that is just my opinion. I also like the silver. I don't see this as an improvement. I do like the wordmark though. BBTV
I kind of like it better without the neck. I know they were trying to go with some angle shape thing to either make the head more dynamic, or to mimic the shape of the Carolinas (which despite all the evidence we've seen, I just can't believe), but I agree that the neck looks odd.I also agree with the points that Vic pointed out about the sleeve numbers. First thing I noticed, actually. I'd probably incorporate some more black in the helmet logo, just to bring out the white details some. I'm ok with the wordmark, but I'd maybe shrink it just a tad on the uni's. Also, some light blue pants wouldn't be bad to add to the mix. logodawg
I must say I miss the neck. This is, however, an improvement to what they currently have. Just two panthers rather the 6 or so now. And the wordmark is leaps and bounds better than that dated mid-90s piece of crap they have now. I once had a car but I crashed it. I once had a guitar but I smashed it. I once, wait where am I going with this?
winghaz
I like the jerseys and I REALLY like the wordmark. But I don't like the helmet. I, too, miss the neck. And I'd really like to see the Panthers get rid of the semi-stripes on the helmets.
dgnmrwrw
I think the advantage to the neck is that it helps convey a sense of speed and movement, as opposed to a head just sitting there. This is an interesting try, but I like their current stuff better. VitaminD
Even though I prefer the current shape of the cathead logo (and if I squint my eyes just right, I can see the whole North & South Carolina outline in there somewhere), I actually like DC's helmet logo. But the cat's head would look much better were it black. Problem is, that leaves you with a couple options for the helmet - Panthers blue, white or silver. It's unlikely the Panthers would want black helmets, what with the Falcons doing that already. You may be better off using that electric blue for the helmet, although imagining it in my head, it may be too much. Otherwise, I like the jerseys and the rest of the uni concept. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
AEBPiano
The uniform is ok but why did u turn the panthers logo baby blue
amare32
I'm not a fan of the jerseys -- the Seahawkian shoulders turn me off. But I kinda dig the helmet design. The Panther head (minus neck) reminds me of 1960s-era baseball cards, where the disembodied head floats on a color background. Oddly enough, I like that. FiddySicks
The uniform is ok but why did u turn the panthers logo baby blue maybee because thats one of the Panthers colors? And i dont think its baby blue, its some kinda powderish ACXX 135.54 sky blue or something like that, PANTONE would know. Cujo
The uniform is ok but why did u turn the panthers logo baby blue If I did keep the logo black, that means I would have had to make the helmet either white or use that tacky blue color Carolina uses. Going with a "powderish ACXX 135.54 sky blue" helmet would not over very well with the board dwellers on here if you ask me.
walkerws
I am not sold on it. Maybe because I don't like black as a primary color. The silver is there to make it look different so why remove it? The concept is good though and the head is too much like the Jaguars IMO. Good job verall, just my personal opinion that the helmet should not be black.
