gueman
This is league wide not just the Mets. my mistake Not so much your mistake as were ever you got the information probably didn't mention it was league wide. But it is not that all bats will be pink. Just that they are approved for use on that day. But I bet if you didn't use one they will ask why don't you support breast cancer and Mom's? Or what happens if some one goes 5 for 5 and hits 3 dingers, I bet he will want to use it on Monday. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys. P. J. sbutler66
The NHL issued pink sticks to be used in order to raise money for Breast Cancer earlier in the season. A great move by both leagues to raise money and awareness for a worthy cause.

Bouj
Rim shot!I saw a pic of a set of pink bats. There were something like 6 bats in the pic, with various team logos burned into them (I remember the A's and Astros for certain were in the pic). Go Astros!Go Texans!Go Rockets!Go Javelinas! Wow... that is about the funniest thing I have heard in a while. Keep in mind that the only reason MLB didn't use the blue balls is because Bud Selig couldn't find a way to make money by doing it. Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
