I am aware of that, but it is still named after a corporation. I am glad the Chicago Tribune did not rename the Cubs in that fashion... Why not just name the team grass or topsoil?Naming the CT team after a casino (regardless of the fact that both have the same owner) just bugs me and not because it is a casino, but because, as said by someone said above, it's part of the marketing of that business. But I can't dispute the Sky--it's bad.The biggest problem is that nobody will take the name of a team that exists anywhere. I'd rather the WNBA teams be called the Falcons, Tigers and Eagles than Mercury, Sol and Sky.
