Fans will be able to see the new uniforms in action as two groups will then participate in a scrimmage. New Sabres merchandise will also be available for purchase in the Sabres Store. LoligerBS Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 I was at a Sabres practice today.First off, if you ever get a chance to watch your team practice, its awesome.Second, some of the players were wearing the blue and gold gloves, and some were even wearing the shorts.They were a nice blue color, and had 2 somewhat curved striped going down the each side.They were grey and gold stripes.Additionally, on the right hand leg, they had the new logo, with the Buffalo Sabres wordmark below it. I absolutely agree - I've caught some of my P-Bruins practices over the past few years, and if you're a hockey junkie like me, you don't mind the cold temps at the practice rink nor the abnormally loud echo of the pucks hitting the boards...mmmmm....hockey's (almost) back.
