ROCHitman
I hope that is just a factor of the jersey being new.I think it is.Most new jerseys skyrocket up the sales chart at teh start.WIthin two months or so, I think sales of Buffalo jerseys will be back to an average level, slightly higher. These rankings really don't mean much. I just say this because at the first day the jerseys were available for purchase at the pond, hardly anyone showed up. According to a sales associate I spoke with they sold less than 20 the first day and it got to the point where things were so slow, they began giving them to the vendors to wear to try and boost sales. ColeJ
the stars claimed on multiple occasions that the mooterus logo mechandise completely blew the rest of the merch out of the water, during the first season... see how that turned out?i've got an article in a game program talking about how the mooterus is one of the most well recieved uniforms in the history of hockey. Korkie
off topic, but 9-1? My god. As a Flyers fan, I was too busy punching myself in the head last night to listen to the commentary about the unis. It was less painful then watching that crap. hecticbro
Well, the Ducks jerseys are boring. I can see how the general population (and not logo/design enthusiasts and staunch traditionalists) could really like the new Buffalo look, but I don't really see how anyone could love the new Ducks package. fonz
Ya, I can't see the Ducks jerseys selling big with anyone but hardcore Ducks fans
leedsunited
I think the Ducks' jersey sales are more indicative of the popularity of the franchise in Anaheim. Buffalo is regarded as one of the league' strongpoints in terms of consistent fan support.
63Bulldogs63
maybe so about buffalo, but shoot even diehard ducks fans would have a tough time buying their crap, I mean, the package that they originally had was amazing. I could see why consistently it sold well, the new logo sucks as well as the colors. I think it was a poor move by the franchise. but this is just my humble opinion and it dont mean much to anyone else.
