How do the Colts get beat down like they stole money from big momma's purse and still sit above New Orleans who punched out one of the top teams in their division? And Cincy above NO? But untill that happens, im still saying the Saints are better. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Audiodrama
Recall if you will that the Bengals beat the Saints earlier this yearThat was earlier this year. The Patriots also beat the Bengals early in the season in Cincinnati, but you don't see that showing up on this week's Power Rankings.
Dilbert
I agree the Saints are a very good team infact so that I have them at number 6, but this thread is THE 5 not the 6 Signature intentionally left blank

-(dp)-
1. Chargers - Best RB and TE in the league. Philip Rivers is maturing. They are going to be hard to beat in the playoffs.2. Saints - They ARE for real.3. Ravens - Great defense, but unlike the Bears, they have a little bit of offense to go along with it.4. Bengals - they have been playing great lately5. Bears - Good, but they have NO offense. No super bowl this year.
PeytonManningRocks
Everyone is still picking flavors of the week. I will agree, though, that after our latest (only?) awful performance, that the Colts are no longer in the top spot.1. San Diego - without question after their latest performance they should be number 12. Chicago - if Rex doesn't play like Ryan Leaf, the Bears are the team to beat in the NFC3. Indianapolis - yes, our defense is horrible, but the offense is still a top-5 when it's in rhythm...and you can't get your offense in rhythm when your defense can't get off the field4. Baltimore - still not sold on the O, putting up 20 points on KC isn't much of an accomplishment....and they really haven't had a great offensive game all season5. New Orleans - it was a toss-up between them and the Pats, but the Pats haven't played as many good teams as the Saints haveAnd what's with all these knee-jerk reactions to the Bengals and Jaguars wins this past week? Let's not forget Carson Palmer threw three INTs this past week, albeit against a good defense. And wait until Cincy plays another good offense like Indy this week. They will struggle. As far as the Jags go....they lost to Houston twice. Enough said.Oh, and 300 posts! woot!
no97
5. Bears - Good, but they have NO offense. No super bowl this year.Funny, I seem to remember that the Bears offense scored more (28 pts.) than 25 teams did in week 14 (and that doesn't include Hester's two TD returns)...Throw in defensive and special teams scoring, and they are second in scoring offense at 25.7 ppg and second in scoring defense at 12.6 ppg allowed...Blame turnovers, blame Rex, but don't blame the offense...Moose
winters in buffalo
1.Chargers2.Ravens3.Colts4.Bears5.SaintsThat sounds about right, althought one could argue that the top 4 spots could be the Saints.

FiddySicks
Im not exactly sure what the hard on for Baltimore is, but I guess its because I havent seen a whole lot of them this year so its hard to judge. Record -- 10-32. Baltimore 16, San Diego 133. Baltimore 27, Tampa Bay 0 (at Tampa Bay)4. Baltimore 27, Pittsburgh 05. Baltimore 20, Kansas City 10 (at Kansas City).6. Defense -- No. 1 in yards and points allowed.Just a hunch, anyway. And maybe I'm biased. But seriously, I think Baltimore is definately a top seed in the AFC, but I just havent seen much of them this year like I have SD and NO. Baltimore's always been that kinda team though. Even when they won the Super Bowl they were kind of came outta nowhere and beat the AFC's top two seeds in succession. They should definately make the AFC playoff run very interesting.
