Chevron's new logo

Just seems like the typical Web 2.0 update.

But the colors are now better, the font is better, and the logo didn't need the outline. So that kind of makes up for the Web 2.0 Stuff.

Whenever I see Chevron I think of a Sgt. patch on a military outfit. I wonder if they meant it to look like that.

Well, seeing as how a "chevron" is in fact the shape used in military insignia, the Sgt. resemblance seems pretty intentional.

I love the new design. The font works great, especially on the price boards. I also love how they're starting to use the logo minus the wordmark on the overhangs. It looks pretty classy without text.

I had no clue Chevron was a technical name for a shape
