me????? If you are talking about me then im sorry im just mad right now and dont need to be reminded of my citys history right now

Quite sure he didn't mean you...

It's quite obvious he's from Buffalo, though.

Considering his Red Sox avatar and Magic signature.

Way to support the home teams in times of trouble, champ.

Still haven't won a Major Sports Championship and with the bills season coming up there appears to be no hope.

Also, the AFL championship doesn't count...

Sure it does. The AFL must have been at least a little bit "major" or the NFL would not have merged with them. See The WFL and The USFL for an example of what I am talking about.

Regardless, Buffalo has some of the best fans in all of sports. They'll be fine. They have class, something that I am sure is a foreign concept to some fans.

Why? Cleveland's actually won something.

When? 1955? That was 5 years before Buffalo even got their first professional team, which won an AFL championship, after all...

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

Dec. 1964 when the Browns won the last title for the city of Cleveland.

You guys think you have it bad. Iowa hasn't had a major league team since 1950.

What team was that? I thought the only "major league" team ever in Iowa was the Keokuk Westerns. Did the Tri-Cities Blackhawks play in Davenport?,I thought that they played in Moline,IL. That is the only other potential Iowa team I can think of.

Not sure of the exact dates, but the Waterloo Hawks were an early NBA franchise.
