Natsfan36 Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 My prediction for the games this weekend.Stanford over FSU - 4-1 This hurts but I really like Stanford's pitcher.Miami iver UGA - 12-6Fresno St over Rice 9-8UNC over LSU 11-7that game went nuts top 9th.. i was at the game and was about to leave when Milleville jacked the 3 run homer....unfortunately i didnt stay for tonights...i was really red from the past two days... Stanford puts up a cool 11 in the 9th inning to defeat Florida State, then Miami's defense goes to crap in the 9th, allowing Georgia to score 4 and top the top-seeded Hurricanes 7-4......Go Dawgs! I played football with the Canes' center fielder Blake Tekotte back in high school. I would just feel really good for him.I still think they have the best team in the tournament... Here are my picks for tomorrow:FSU over Miami - 9-7: FSU knows how to play with their backs against the wall.UGA over Stanford - 14-6: UGA is really hot. But of course, yesterday-- even more fuel for your fire: In the top of the first, the LSU pitcher Blake Martin has a terrible start, giving up a leadoff single, gets one strikeout, then gives a one-out RBI double to allow one run to score, then beans consecutive batters to load the bases before walking in a run to make it 2-0. Then, as if on cue, the lighting and rains came, stopping the game for what will turn out to be 24 hours. Talk about a momentum killer for UNC. Geaux Tigers!! It is what it is.
