What if....

I started this about 2 1/2 years ago. Sometime in the early 1900's American Football and Rugby began to institute rule changes that diverged the games into two different sports. But what if American football had remained consistent with rugby? What would the uniforms look like today? Here are my brainstorms:

I made that one well before the umm... dog thing. I should probably change it but the file is messy.

Fantastic idea. I would never have imagined that the NFL could actually make pretty wicked rugby kits. Big fan of the Bengals kits with the tiger stripes on the shoulders and the 1st kit of the Ravens using the coat of arms as the design. The patriots looks a lot like the FC Dallas kits from MLS.

I like the concepts. Was making the Kansas City Chiefs look like the Super 14 Chiefs intentional? It was a unique idea making the players have numbers that would correspond to the position they would most likely play in rugby, although their are a few that don't seem quite right (Jevon Kearse at scrumhalf?) Personal favorite is the Bears concept

Haha I love your diversity in choosing scrum halfs. If anyone on the Bucs could control the ruck, it'd be Dunn. As a front linesman myself, I'd have liked to see a bit more Props/Hookers, but overall, nice job. Most of these kits work really well. They stay true to the team while properly looking like a rugby kit. A few, like the Raiders home kit, are a bit hard to read, but overall nice job. I'd love a Bucs rugby jersey.
