Jamikel
They could have gone with a much better design. Why put effort into design when you have a perfectly good Hawaii template that you can recolor?

Red Wolf
Why couldn't they have used the templates that these teams already use? Would it have been so hard to fill in Maryland's side panel and stuff with camo instead of using the Hawaii template?
AJM
Good intentions, but jersey outcome is not that great. The cleats are awesome though... powersurge
The cleats do look pretty sweet. Wonder if they have gloves to match. Either way, I think it'll work, but barely. I don't think they went about it the best way, but they went about it and there's nothing I or anyone else can do now other than hope that they do it better the next time. Too bad, because it really could have looked so much better.
BigDmo
I'm disappointed Army didn't stick to their uniforms from the Army/Navy game. Why didn't they switch to those or get a new uniform of something similar? Not to mention those cleats would be sweet for them.

BigDmo
I'm sure someone on CCSLC could still find a problem with that uniform. Like how the helmet stripe, jersey stripe, and pants stripe don't match or some other nonsense. I feel like the only uniform that would ever satisfy CCSLC would be a plain jersey. JBPerry
not saying don't honor the army.....but why is it that when they do these military jerseys....they always have the army for the unveiling....i understand that the army, navy and air force are the 3 main service academies...but it's be nice to see a marine version too......yes i am a active duty marine currently stationed in 29 palms, california....i'm just saying....don't just stick with one branch.....honor them all <embed src="http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/5005-Blue.swf?TimeZone=CST&TimeFormat=hhmmssTT" width="180" height="60" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">joshuabperry@sbcglobal.netMy Webpage

The Navy football team, however, actually did shout out the Marine Corps with their special jerseys last year by having the Navy anchor on one sleeve and the all-encompassing Marine emblem on the other, which I found quite cool. I have no idea whether or not that carried over into this season, however, as I have yet to see them. Of course...you always have the San Diego Padres camo alts...which they say is to honor the Marines, especially since there's so many in the area.Speaking of which...that post may be the first time I've ever seen a Marine actually use a number when writing that duty station. One thing I know about that place is that they're adamant about spelling Twentynine Palms all the way out...nobody told you that? Patchez
I hope they fix the flag before game day.Besides drawing the deserved recognition of our military, does anyone knowhow much of the proceeds on the sale of camo tcotchke goes to organizations who aid our veterans?
