One X factor in tomorrow's game. Watch out for Saints DE Will Smith and his linemates. They've been hearing all week long about that great Minnesota D-line (and they are good) and that kind of thing often provides a little extra motivation for guys to go out and wreak some havoc of their own.

Sure hope I can remove the word 'South' from my sig tomorrow night.

Now was someone smokin' when he said this?

NFC Championship Prediction...from Hollygrove's Own Lil' Wayne

New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne is a well-known sports buff. He often name-checks athletes in his songs, has appeared on ESPN and collects quarterback Brett Favre memorabilia. Therefore, it comes as little surprise that he's picking Favre's Minnesota Vikings over his hometown New Orleans Saints to head to the Super Bowl.

Al Davis is retaining Tom Cable as Raiders' head coach, as nobody else wanted anything to do with the job in Oakland.

Well, that and Cable hasn't been showing up at the office to get his pink slip.

The Raiders are a joke.

Just like your response.

'rams80', Cable has actually been at the teams Alameda HQ daily to work as there have been TV crews outside the facility since the season ended trying to watch his fate. Regardless, there were rumors that if Cable was fired, that he would have a job with Kiffin at USC.

Al Davis is getting worse as far as putting pressure on his coaches. If you are gonna throw a young unexperienced guy at your team, you have to be patient, and the constant chopping and changing over the last few years can't have been helping the Raiders. I am not sure Cable is a guy to transform the Raiders, but I do know that shoving him out the door is not going to help the team that much.

*sound of 5000 halfwit PD posters demanding the Rams acquire Brad Smith*

Also, that should have been intentional grounding on Sanchez's part just now.

I agree they need to make ITL Grounding have some teeth again, none of this out of the pocket crap if the QB throws the ball and no Receiver is near it should be grounding.
