Why would you not go for two down five vs this Jets D? I know it's only the first half, but we've all seen what the Jets can do in the second half. If you miss, you still need a TD to take the lead. In this case... You still need a TD to take the lead.

I don't think a team should ever go for 2 in the first half. There's still 30 minuts to go. Lots of scoring ahead of us. Anything can happen. And that one point, should you miss, could make a HUGE difference in the final minutes.

Absolutely. Shouldn't chase points in the first half, or first three quarters in a close game.

By the way, Curty, awesome signature, man.

There's still a lot of time left, but they just said the Jets haven't turned it over or given up a sack yet today.

Sometimes, you have to think a lot of that success comes from game planning. The Jets and Colts have already met and, for most of that game, the Jets got to face the Colts' first string. Knowledge, people... it's a far stronger tool then you think.

I've heard this argument quite a few times and for some reason people seem take this as a huge advantage for the Jets. Sure the Jets have a fresh look at the Colts starters cause they just played 2/3 of a game against them, but the Colts had a FULL look at all of the Jets starters. How is this a benefit to the Jets in any way?

Agreed on both counts. That sig is awesome. Go Jets!

It's not. It's just football speak for "we have three and a half hours to fill and we need to sound like we know something."
