OUSooners
How can either team be considered legit title contenders when they only play cupcakes? Can't speak for TCU, but for Boise, the majority of the cupcakes on their schedule come from their own conference. Boise can't really help that, because it's not like Gene Bleymaier and Chris Petersen can storm into the Idaho/New Mexico State/Louisiana Tech/etc. athletic departments and start recruiting better and firing people left and right.Maybe play a good non-conference schedule? Lights Out
Maybe play a good non-conference schedule? Can we stop pretending like Boise doesn't try every year to put together a good non-conference schedule? Name schools might not be scared of Boise but they certainly don't want even the possibility of losing to them. There are very few AQ schools that take Boise seriously, and none of them would be considered very traditional.Regardless, back to power rankings. This argument is probably better located in the general NCAAF thread. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

pianoknight
1 Oregon2 Boise State3 TCU4 Auburn5 LSU6 Wisconsin7 Stanford8 Ohio State9 Nebraska**10 Oklahoma State** I maintain that Nebraska won the A&M game. I officially fail to recognize the illegitimacy of a win tainted by phantom calls and very clear bias by the officials. Clear enough that it was contested live on-air by Kirk Herbstreit, and by ESPN's own sports writers. 5th in NAT. TITLES | 2nd in CONF.
