Drakonius26
...Splat?I'm joking. I don't think what happened is funny at all, but I do wonder if the man had been drinking a little, even if he was with his son, or was this simply a complete accident? From what it sounds like, it is, but with two deaths at baseball stadiums this year, and others who have become injured, I wonder if the railings should be a bit higher and sturdier. It's obviously horrible what happened, and it's nice the Rangers are going out of their way to really support the family and the little kid, who will no doubt be traumatically affected by this. I mean, just look at Josh Hamilton, and the Oakland bullpen, that one player for the Athletics looked absolutely devastated by what happened. CS85
Hamilton apparently just hit a foul ball that struck a fan in the head, from which the fan is bleeding profusely. cameroncrazie07
So I don't get to be in attendance to see Jeter get number 3000 which sucks. But it does make me feel better that some people were buying 25 dollar tickets for about 230 dollars on Stubhub. That's hilarious, 230 dollars down the drain. Apparently the Yankees offered to have a day-night doubleheader tomorrow, but the Rays turned it down. That's just what I'm hearing. Also I'm currently watching Mets-Giants as Bob Costas and Al Michaels are calling the game. Just amazing. Because currently the MLB network is blacked out for us. The Core 4 Sports Podcast Twitter

But I'll just have to assume you're not. It's true. I saw the highlight a little while ago on MLB Network. Hamilton is having a tough couple of days...to say the least. In other news, Costas and Michaels in the same booth is excellent. The announcer rotation thing is pretty cool too. In my case, as a MLB Extra Innings subscriber I get to hear those local guys all the time. Still, a very cool idea. MLB Network is the best thing to happen to sports TV...well...ever. FiddySicks
I have to agree. Nothing beats being able to watch my favorite team in HD on the opposite side of the country and getting to hear Kruk and Kuip call the game. I would've liked to hear them calling the game on SNY. What you thought was going to happen reminded me of when ESPN did the announcer swap and Vitale did the NBA game, that was awful. If anything, Costas and Michaels prove that you don't need an ex-player to have a good broadcast team. Anyway, I'm really enjoying listening to them. They should do this once a month. FiddySicks
Glad to see Bruce Bochy completely mismanage the end of the game and probably cost his team a win. Why in the world you would bring in the closer in the top of the 9th of a tie ball game when the bottom of the order is due up is beyond me. Just brutal. I thought that side of Ol' bighead was dead. Guess not. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
