thebigeh
Since I always thought the Detroit Tigers' history included a tiger head inside a circle as a logo, I thought I`d try to create one for the modern era using what was avaliable. You like? C&C welcomed.

GeauxColonels
Reminds me a lot of Auburn...which is a negative. But that's not your faults...it's the similarity in the colors.Nicely executed. One comment, is it me or does the bottom jaw look a little long.

Jared222
Looks very similarWowwait insent stealing someone elses logos a automatic ban? if it isent it should.I agree he didnt come up with a new concept parsay , but if we are going to get technical all either of them did was use the current Tiger head that can be found on there logo page in the opening of Comerica Park logo and put in inside a circle with a different font. So he didnt really steal anything, both are just taking what the tigers currently use and putting in a circle like they used to have.
YessSir32
I love this logo coming from a die hard Tigers fan, but come on man, thats not your logo.

Western Michigan
yo the fonts are different in the two logos this guy didn't steal it, he just probably didn't know someone had already made a concept with the same idea.bravo on the logo though, it looks great. deliver2david
Your modernization is nicely done, but I keep waiting for this version to come back.
knnhrvy16
Looks very similarThat concept was posted nearly six years ago....chances are that he/she didn't even know about it. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that this was stolen.
Conrad.
I'd like to see a more expanded typeface used (like the original) so that you dont have so much negative space around the circle. Count me as in for d2d's idea too, for adding a bat to the logo and maybe making the tiger be on a 3/4 view...
Ink
It's not like MonkeyWrench32 created the head logo. If you read his thread he took the head from this logo to quote him "I know that a lot of Tigers fans love the old circle logo, so I decided to take it and modernize it. It uses the Tiger head from the current primary and a font that is very close to the text used in the "diamond" logo"My link He just borrowed the idea from MonkeyWrench32 plus MonkeyWrench32's logo is watermarked if you look at it
Buster
So the first guy didn't create the logo, he just cropped it.The different fonts, orange trim on one ring and not the other...it's not stolen, just similar. I like the one in post #2...crazy eyes.
Milo Meningocele
[i agree he didnt come up with a new concept parsay...Per se. Why is that so difficult? Why do so many people use words they don't know?
rcb05
I bet most posters on here weren't even memebers in 2005, let alone remember concepts from that far back. Just because they're similar doesn't mean he stole it.

Bmac
He didn't steal anything. I can think of at least two other members that did the exact same thing. If the concept gets done so much, perhaps the team should go ahead and do it already.
